PROJECT GOAL:

This was Buskey's first foray into bottles and I was tasked with creating and selecting the aesthetics from top to bottom.

Buskey is known for being an approachable cidery in cans. The bottles were supposed to be a more elevated visual using what is perceived by customers to be a more elevated format.

EXPLANATION OF THE DESIGN:

The bottles are matte for continuity with the matte labels of the can. They were painted black to reinforce black as the base color for Buskey. The bottles are our only labels that don't include the full label to make the look minimalist and edgy.

The labels are roughly the size of a Hello My Name Is sticker to maintain our approachable vibe, even with this elevated format. I hand stickered the labels so that they could be askew instead of straight on. This gave the bottles their unique look in the cider industry.

Since their launch, Buskey has released a Mezcal and a Gin Barrel Aged Cider with the same label and bottle format.

The glasses were selected because the glass has contouring lines like the bottle, and fits the format of a smaller pour for barrel products. The glass features only the BUSKEY design just like it's the only logo on the bottle. Previously only the full logo had been used on glassware.
